EDTA PET Tubes

The EDTA PET Tube finds extensive use in the realm of Clinical Hematology and can also be employed in a closed mode with direct sampling analyzers. These transparent tubes are equipped with non-ridged pull caps and feature a vacuum design. They are easily distinguishable by their purple color-coded safety caps, which are supported by a piston rubber for secure sealing. Each tube contains a Tri-potassium Dihydrogen Ethylenediaminetetraacetate (EDTA) solution, serving as an anticoagulant for blood specimens when the tubes are inverted. These tubes are available in various sizes and can be obtained as either sterile through gamma radiation or non-sterile options to suit specific laboratory needs.
